Chitra Shante initiates to serve as a venue to facilitate, initiate, promote and support individual and community based visual arts exhibitions and projects to celebrate, describe and express the cultural identity of the country.

Aims and Objectives
The Chitra Shante will create opportunities for the community to support and develop an appreciation of all art forms, thus adding to the quality of life of citizens of the country.
To facilitate the staging of exhibitions of a comprehensive range of art forms for all and multicultural groups and provide opportunities.
To provide a Gallery, in which artists can practice their art, exhibit or sell their work and share their art with others.
The Gallery is designed so professionals and the community can work, develop skills, exhibit or otherwise promote themselves in the spirit of community cultural development.
